Parent Coaching and Consultation

We partner with parents and caregivers to better understand their child's strengths, needs, routines, and everyday challenges. Coaching and consultation may include individualized strategies for regulation, transitions, routines, adaptive skills, feeding and mealtime participation, play, and other areas affecting daily participation.

Our goal is to provide practical strategies that families can realistically incorporate into everyday life while supporting their child's development, participation, and growing independence.

School Support and IEP Advocacy

We support families in better understanding their child's participation and functional needs within the school environment. Services may include consultation with families, review of relevant educational information, collaboration with school teams when appropriate, and support identifying strategies or accommodations that may help a child participate more successfully in school routines.

We can also help parents better understand the occupational therapy related components of the IEP process and prepare to communicate their child's needs and priorities with their educational team.

Sensory Processing and Regulation Support

Sensory Processing & Regulation Support

We provide individualized support to help children navigate sensory experiences, develop regulation strategies, manage transitions, and participate more comfortably and confidently in everyday routines and environments.

Support is tailored to each child's sensory needs, strengths, interests, and daily experiences, with an emphasis on practical strategies and meaningful participation at home and in the community.

Community Integration & Participation

We support children in developing the skills and confidence needed to participate more fully in their communities. Services take place within meaningful, real world environments and may focus on recreational activities, community outings, shopping, ordering or purchasing items, navigating community routines, interacting with others, and participating in other everyday experiences.

Support is individualized to help children build greater independence, confidence, and participation within their own communities.

Independent Living and Adaptive Skills

Independent Living & Adaptive Skills

We help children develop practical skills that support greater independence in everyday life. Services may address self care, dressing, hygiene, mealtime participation, organization, routines, household activities, and other age appropriate adaptive skills based on each child's individual needs and goals.

Whenever appropriate, skills can be practiced within the environments and routines where children actually use them, helping make learning meaningful and relevant to everyday life.

Social Participation & Group Programs

Working Wonders provides individualized support for social participation, including peer interaction, cooperative play, shared activities, communication within social routines, regulation, and participation in social environments.

We are also developing small group programs designed to provide supportive, meaningful opportunities for children to connect with peers, participate in shared experiences, practice skills, and build confidence in a structured and inclusive environment.
