Working Wonders Therapy is a mobile pediatric therapy and developmental support practice serving children and families throughout West Los Angeles. We bring individualized services directly to children within their homes, communities, and other natural environments, allowing support to take place where everyday life happens.
We provide pediatric occupational therapy along with individualized support for sensory processing and regulation, adaptive skills, community participation, social participation, feeding, and everyday independence.
Our approach is play based, child centered, strength based, and family focused. We believe meaningful progress starts with connection and that children learn best when they feel safe, supported, understood, and actively engaged.
Rather than focusing only on isolated skills, we consider the whole child and the environments, relationships, routines, and experiences that shape their everyday participation. We work closely with families to identify meaningful priorities and develop practical strategies that support progress beyond the therapy session.
Working Wonders Therapy is a vendored provider with Westside Regional Center and supports eligible children and families receiving Regional Center services, including Early Start and services that may be funded through the Self Determination Program.
Getting started with Working Wonders Therapy is simple. Click the Get Started or Start Now button to complete a quick form where you can tell us a little about your child, your family's priorities, and the goals or challenges you would like support with. You can also include your phone number if you prefer a personal call to connect.
From there, we'll learn more about your child's strengths, interests, daily routines, and areas where additional support may be helpful. Depending on your child's needs and the service you are seeking, we can discuss the most appropriate next steps, which may include an evaluation, individualized services, caregiver consultation and coaching, or other developmental supports.
As a mobile practice, Working Wonders provides services in homes, community settings, and other natural environments throughout West Los Angeles. This allows us to support meaningful skills within the environments and routines where children live, play, and participate every day.
Every child develops differently, which is why our services are individualized around each child's strengths, needs, interests, and goals.
Depending on the child and service, support may address sensory processing and regulation, fine motor and visual motor development, feeding and mealtime participation, self care and adaptive skills, transitions and routines, social participation, community participation, and other skills that contribute to greater independence in everyday life.
Our goal is to make intervention meaningful and relevant to the child's real life. That may mean learning to get dressed more independently, participating in family mealtimes, navigating transitions, interacting with peers, completing a community outing, or developing the skills needed to participate more confidently in everyday routines.
Parents and caregivers are an important part of this process. We collaborate with families to understand what is happening in everyday life and develop practical strategies that can be incorporated into home and community routines.
